About the Service and Team
The service is part of the Public Health and Resettlement Department within the Adult Social Care Directorate. The council was awarded Council of Sanctuary status in November 2025 and is committed to being an inclusive and welcoming borough. It supports national resettlement and emergency arrivals schemes in the borough.
About the Role
The Senior Resettlement Officer will provide operational management and leadership in the Council’s work with refugees and vulnerable migrants. This role involves working with internal and external partners to meet the aims of the council and national and regional commitments. The successful candidate will manage complex resettlement schemes and projects within a public sector setting, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration to deliver change.
