About the Role
Join Hillingdon's Outstanding Court Service. If you're passionate about building meaningful relationships with children and families and want to work somewhere you can truly make a difference, Hillingdon is the place for you. Following our recent Ofsted Outstanding judgement, we continue to invest in our workforce, creating the conditions for social workers to thrive. We know great social work happens when practitioners have the time, support and stability to focus on families.
Our Court social workers are active, out in the community, working intensively with children and families and carrying out investigative assessments that shape decisions about a child’s future. You’ll build strong relationships, drive meaningful change, and be supported to grow every step of the way.
As a Social Worker in Hillingdon, no two days will be the same. Within the court team you will:
- Build meaningful, relationship-based practice with children and families.
- Be trained in parenting assessments.
- Lead and coordinate multi-agency plans that safeguard children and support families.
- Be part of our journey to becoming a fully trauma-informed service, supported by a strong and stable leadership team.
- Access regular supervision, clinical supervision, reflective practice, and extensive professional development opportunities.
We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements, free on-site parking, and excellent transport links just 5 minutes from Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines. You will benefit from manageable caseloads, visible and supportive managers, and a modern working environment.
