About the Role
The primary purpose of the role is to support and enhance the psychological care of service users of Lambeth Talking Therapies. The successful applicant will provide a comprehensive, efficient, and effective administrative service while managing appointments, processing referrals, and dealing with enquiries via telephone, email, or in person. You will possess the ability to communicate effectively with patients with mental health problems as well as staff from across the service. You will demonstrate excellent knowledge of Office 365, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as excellent standards of written and spoken English. Understanding the importance of confidentiality is crucial. This is a challenging role within an extremely busy environment, dealing with difficult situations that demand care, attention, and sensitivity. It is therefore important that you are enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work under pressure, as you will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, balance your work demands against those of the team, and be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of the service. The post holder will work within the overall framework of the team and adhere to the team's policies and procedures. You will be supported with regular supervision and line management.
Experience
Previous experience in an administrative role, particularly in a healthcare setting, is desirable.

You are enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work under pressure. You possess excellent communication skills and are capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. A strong understanding of confidentiality and sensitivity in dealing with patients is essential.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but proficiency in Office 365 and strong written and spoken English are essential.
