About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the historic houses team as Senior Visitor Experience Officer at the London Borough of Hounslow’s two historic houses, Hogarth’s House and Boston Manor House. You will lead the Visitor Experience team to ensure a welcoming and engaging experience for visitors while organising the team to support public programming, venue hires, and the care of the buildings. The role includes managing volunteer workloads with front of house responsibilities, coordinating with the Volunteer Manager, and working with colleagues to ensure training and development opportunities are in place to support both staff and volunteers.

About the Team You’ll Be Working In
This role is part of the Culture Team within the historic houses sub team, responsible for managing Boston Manor House and Hogarth’s House. The team cares for these buildings and their collections and delivers public programmes for each site. The Senior Visitor Experience Officer reports directly to the Historic Houses Senior Manager.

Experience
- Proven experience managing and developing staff and volunteer teams
- Extensive experience coordinating visitor offers with diverse departments and stakeholders
- Experience researching, implementing, and reviewing visitor operation improvements
- Experience facilitating and supervising maintenance work
