About the Role
Welcome to the London Borough of Sutton! We are proud of our high levels of resident satisfaction and the quality of our services. Our Children’s First Contact Service serves as a single point of contact for all early help and children’s social care services, supporting children in need and addressing child protection matters. We are seeking confident and skilled Social Workers to join our team, dedicated to delivering the best outcomes for children and young people. You will process daily contacts received into the team, liaising with multi-agency partners and ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures. Our ideal candidate will have a caring and calm approach, with a thorough understanding of social work frameworks.

Experience
We welcome applications from experienced CFCS/MASH practitioners or those with sustained child protection experience. You should have at least 2 years post ASYE work experience as a UK Registered Social Worker.

About you
You are an enthusiastic and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will demonstrate empathy in sensitive situations and possess strong interpersonal skills. Your ability to assess and record a child's needs through evidence-based practice will be essential.

Qualifications
You must be a Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work degree or recognized qualification, registered with Social Work England, and have completed the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
