About the Role

This team includes Occupational Therapy, Preparing for Adulthood, and Short Breaks services, supporting children aged 0-18 and their families.

The role involves managing a mixed caseload including safeguarding, child and family assessments, court work, duty, and children looked after. You will work with children who have severe and profound disabilities and/or complex health needs, providing short breaks for eligible children.

You will report to a Team Manager and be part of a busy, friendly, and hard-working team committed to making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities. Collaboration with Education, Health, and other teams is essential.

Flexible working arrangements include a hybrid model with an expectation to be in the office two days per week and undertake face-to-face visits to families. Caseloads are manageable to ensure quality support.

Benefits include a merited pay scheme, 30 days annual leave, Local Government Pension Scheme participation, free car parking at Bromley Civic Centre, mileage claims for business trips, relocation allowance for eligible candidates, and a range of salary sacrifice schemes and discounts.
