About the Role
Suade stands out for its proven ability to develop and deploy fast and performant XBRL solutions. As a Software Engineer on our Submission team, you will work closely with a tight-knit group of ambitious engineers writing Python code aimed at preventing the next financial crisis. Your day-to-day work will primarily focus on the company’s main product, with opportunities to contribute to occasional side projects and innovative moon-shot ideas. You will be part of a diverse and inclusive team committed to excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include working on a complex B2B web application, applying best practices and writing tests to deliver high-quality code, participating in the full application lifecycle including writing, testing, deploying and maintaining features, building reusable code, libraries and APIs, collaborating with product teams and subject matter experts to deliver an outstanding client experience, staying current on emerging technologies, schemas and taxonomies, and automating processes wherever possible.

Experience
Experience working with XML (with xLink) or XBRL
Experience creating software in C++, Java, C#, or Python
Experience writing tests for your code
