As a Sous Chef, you will collaborate with our culinary team to craft flavourful dishes that nourish both body and mind. You will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation, production, and service, ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes meet company standards and client expectations. You will supervise and train kitchen staff, assist in menu planning and development, oversee stock control, and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within a contract catering company or educational institution is preferred.

About you
You are fun, enthusiastic, and passionate about food and service. You have excellent organisational skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a flexible approach to work. You thrive in a high-volume kitchen environment and can multitask efficiently under pressure.

Qualifications
A culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute are required. You must have strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required is expected.
