About the Role
Are you a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist seeking a new role? At NELFT North East London Foundation Trust, we have the perfect opportunity for you. We offer flexible working arrangements to suit your personal circumstances. You will join our Dysphagia and Early Years Complex Communication Team, delivering care to children, young people and their families in community, school, and clinic settings. You will provide assessments and interventions for children with complex communication needs, including implementing AAC, and work within the dysphagia team supporting children from early years up to 19 years in special schools. You will be a member of the Joint Assessment Clinic, collaborating with Paediatricians, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists to support our most complex children.

New starters join on the first Monday of each month and undergo a comprehensive induction including mandatory and systems training, equipment allocation, and opportunities to meet senior leadership. The induction is held at our head office in Goodmayes Hospital.

Experience
Experience as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, particularly working with children and young people with complex communication needs and dysphagia.

Qualifications
