About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Enfield Communication Advisory Support Service (ECASS) as a Speech and Language Therapist. This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced therapists. You will be part of an extended multi-professional team working within Additional Resource Provisions, Units, and mainstream primary and secondary schools. The role involves improving provision for pupils with speech, language and communication needs by delivering training, promoting early intervention, and supporting communication-friendly environments across Enfield schools. You will provide practical strategies, assessments, and support to children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs, including those with emerging, less complex, or long-term developmental concerns. Full clinical supervision and opportunities for professional development will be provided, alongside collaboration with Local Authority and NHS Health Partners.

ECASS aims to enhance pupils’ school experience by providing access to communication tools, delivering consistent key messages that ‘communication is everybody’s business’, and supporting settings to meet the needs of children who are not achieving at the same rate as their peers. The role also includes offering appropriate supervision and continual professional development for the school workforce.
