About the Role

As a Store Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring customers receive their deliveries in excellent condition and on time - every time.

Working from one of our over 300 stores, including our largest Digital Hub Stores, you will deliver locally to customers’ homes using 3.5 ton vans. Deliveries range from a tin of paint to 30 packs of flooring, so you must be comfortable with some heavy lifting. When not delivering multi-drop orders, you will be based on the shopfloor using new technology to fulfil customer orders and support colleagues as needed.

Efficiency and safety are essential, and you will represent the B&Q brand by putting customers first wherever you go. Please note, due to the nature of the role, heavy lifting will be required.

Experience
Previous experience as a multi-drop delivery driver is useful but not essential. Full training and all necessary equipment will be provided.

About you
You are a great communicator who can think clearly and make sound plans even when busy. You are organised, analytical, and know how to keep things simple. Flexibility to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays is essential.
You must hold a manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1) for at least one year with no more than 6 points. You will be driving 3.5 ton vans supplied by B&Q.

A valid manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1) is required. No other formal qualifications are necessary.
