About the Role
UNIQLO, a leading brand of the Fast Retailing Group and one of the largest apparel retailers worldwide, is expanding rapidly across the UK and Europe. We are seeking a passionate HR Administrator with hands-on employee relations experience to support staff and managers at our Covent Garden store. You will be fully integrated into the store team, acting as the primary point of contact for HR and administrative matters including recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll, employee relations, policy communication, and general back-of-house tasks.
Reporting to the Store and Area Managers with a dotted line to the HR Business Partner, you will work closely with the in-store management team and the wider HR community within UNIQLO UK. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire employee lifecycle, maintaining accurate employee records in compliance with GDPR, monitoring payroll and timesheets, supporting recruitment and induction processes, collaborating on staffing and workforce planning, and contributing to a positive and inclusive store culture. You will also provide straightforward employee relations advice, support data analysis for improvements, handle employee queries, maintain business information, ensure the back office is tidy, complete money and banking tasks, and assist with customer service and shop floor duties as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in an HR generalist or administrative role within a retail environment is essential. Good knowledge of HR policies and best practices with hands-on experience managing employee relations cases. Strong understanding of payroll processes is required.
