About the Role
We are seeking experienced support workers to join our specialist supported living home, providing 2:1 support to a young woman in her early 30s. This is a single-person home requiring emotionally resilient individuals confident in supporting complex behaviours and committed to building strong, trusting relationships.
Your role will focus on helping her feel safe, understood, and valued. She is bright, funny, and knows what she likes. You will support her with daily routines such as meal preparation, personal care, and attending social groups and interests.
You will receive full training and support from our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team, with a clear PBS plan already in place. During induction, you will work closely with the locality manager and experienced colleagues to help you settle in.
This role requires patience and consistency, being present and committed even during challenging moments. The right team environment helps her thrive, especially when there is humour and connection. Her interests include Barbie, Only Fools and Horses, animals, community clubs, and outdoor activities.
The home operates 24-hour support with early shifts, late shifts, waking nights, and occasional long days.
