About the Role
The Team Lead Physiotherapist will be responsible for the efficient, effective, and safe management of all patients referred to their service. This includes receiving referrals, undertaking full assessments, and independently planning individual, specialized, evidence-based treatment programs for patients based on the physiotherapist's diagnosis. You will carry a designated clinical caseload, including highly complex and diverse patient groups, and prioritize work efficiently using highly specialist knowledge. Responsibilities include providing individual patient equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with legal guidelines, and being professionally accountable for all aspects of your work and the team's work. You will evaluate the effect of physiotherapy interventions using recognized outcome measures and guide Assistant, Band 5, and Band 6 physiotherapy staff in managing patients with a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions. Additionally, you will develop new working practices, lead on clinical guidelines, and provide guidance to other professionals involved in pediatric liver services. The role requires flexibility, including participation in on-call and weekend duty rotas, and may involve working as a lone practitioner in various locations.

Experience
Experience in managing complex patient cases and leading a team is essential.

Qualifications
A relevant physiotherapy degree and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) are required. Additional qualifications in pediatric physiotherapy or related fields would be advantageous.
