About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a wide range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. Evelina London Children’s Hospital cares for local children in Lambeth and Southwark and provides specialist services across south east England including cardiac, renal and critical care services. The hospital leads specialist service networks to ensure children receive local care with access to specialist expertise when needed. The adult community services teams work closely with GPs, local authorities and voluntary organisations to improve patient care through innovative approaches.

This role involves managing day-to-day team operations, supporting ongoing projects, and ensuring effective internal and external communication. The post holder will work in a busy office environment, handling complex and sensitive issues with minimal supervision and liaising with a multidisciplinary team.

The directorate includes 17 services treating a wide range of paediatric conditions, with specialist neonatal intensive care, a children’s emergency department, nurse-led day-case facilities, a sleep centre, and neuro-rehabilitation services. The team supports over 75,000 outpatient attendances and 14,000 day-case procedures annually, and also provides community nursing care.
