About the Role
The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to lead our innovative, newly established Adults Integrated Front Door Service. You will be central to a new service model focused on preventing, reducing, and delaying demand for long-term care by effectively triaging and resolving resident needs through successive tiers of preventative interventions. This approach reduces pressure on long-term case management teams and integrates Care Management and Occupational Therapy resources to ensure a holistic and joined-up service.
As Team Manager, you will provide strong leadership to a multi-disciplinary team including Social Workers, Care Managers, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, and administrative staff. Your core focus will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support for vulnerable adults.
You will manage complex cases, promote best practice, and ensure full compliance with relevant legislation. Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safeguarding and well-being are essential as you lead this critical service area.
Key responsibilities include managing and supporting the team, overseeing person-centred service delivery, ensuring compliance with legal obligations such as the Care Act, managing budgets, collaborating with local partners and agencies, supporting professional development, handling complex safeguarding and risk management situations, fostering a positive team environment, and contributing to service development.

Experience
Proven experience in healthcare management and leading multi-disciplinary teams. Experience managing complex cases and promoting best practice within statutory guidelines is essential.
