About the Role
We are looking for a new Team Manager to join the Award-Winning Reach Out Domestic Abuse Service. Are you passionate about driving improvements across social care? Do you have a strong understanding of domestic abuse and the Safe and Together practice model? If yes, we would love to hear from you.
We are seeking a passionate social work manager who wants to make a significant difference to families' lives. This role holds lead operational responsibility for managing the Reach Out team, which includes the Open Up behaviour Change team. Reach Out works across key departments such as children’s and adults social care and serves as Redbridge Council’s front door for individuals and families impacted by domestic abuse. The service operates borough-wide, supporting households with and without children.
Reach Out is part of the Families First for Children pathfinders programme; the Team Manager role is instrumental in solutioning problems and improving outcomes for adult and child survivors of abuse.
This is an opportunity to drive the service forward, building upon existing strengths and improving both service delivery and operational practices.
Experience
Proven experience in social work management, particularly within domestic abuse services or related social care fields. Strong understanding of the Safe and Together practice model is essential.

Qualifications
Relevant social work qualifications and registration as required. Demonstrable knowledge of domestic abuse issues and social care frameworks.
