About Us Ealing council is seeking a team manager for Approved Mental Health designated boroughwide service and mental health hospital discharge team in the mental health social care service. The approved mental health and rapid discharge service are very busy mental health social care/ social work service supporting vulnerable clients with mental health issues who require care and support through undertaking a strength-based assessment under The Care Act Assessments which progresses to Support Planning, risk assessment, section 117 aftercare planning, carrying out Mental Capacity Assessments whilst working very closely with our Mint and ICB health colleagues, occupational therapist, Psychologist and district nurses working in a in a systemic way providing seamless service for our service users in line with core values and behaviours of the Council and Better Lives. We are looking for a Team Manager with strong commitment to leadership and supporting staff, collaborator, who is forward thinking, able to influence practice, share learning and build positive relationships with key stakeholders and whose passion is around quality service delivery and staff development. This post has management responsibility for statutory AMPH service and delivery social work. Applicants must have an extensive knowledge and experience of The Mental Health Act and the code ensuring the least restrict option in all decision making.
