The Housing & Environment directorate manages and improves over 17,000 council homes, ensuring that every resident has a safe, warm, and welcoming place to live. We’re committed to resident-led service design, continuous improvement, and the highest standards of compliance and safety. This new role has a clear remit to achieve the highest levels of performance in this fundamental area. Supported by a team of around 200 colleagues, you’ll ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and resident-focused services to tenants and leaseholders alike, in a way which delivers not only statutory obligations and best practice, but also our wider organisational ambitions.
Experience
Proven experience of leading the full landlord function across a major housing portfolio, with a strong track record of delivering high performance and transformation in housing services.

Qualifications
Relevant senior management experience in housing or landlord services is essential. Professional qualifications in housing, public administration, or related fields would be advantageous.
