About the Role
Adopt London West Regional Adoption Agency is a partnership between the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Hounslow, hosted by Ealing. The service recruits adopters and finds families for children across our partner agencies. We also offer support services to adoptive and special guardianship families.
Every child has the right to a safe and supportive family life. Adopt London West aspires to promote best practice across its adoption service and adoption and special guardianship support services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Senior Social Worker to join Adopt London West on a full-time permanent contract within the Recruitment and Family Finding Team.
In this role, you will work closely and supportively with prospective adopters, undertaking prospective adopter assessments to a high standard and ensuring adherence to required timescales for approval. You will support approved adopters in exploring links with children with complex needs, assist in matching and transitioning children to their care, and provide ongoing support from placement until the making of an Adoption Order.
