About the Role
We’re looking for a Temporary Accommodation Placement Team Manager to lead the delivery of temporary accommodation and rehousing placements within Housing Demand. You’ll play a key role in ensuring households are placed quickly, appropriately and in line with policy, while managing demand in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, manage complex placement decisions, and work closely with internal teams and providers to secure suitable accommodation and achieve the best outcomes for residents.
About the Team
You’ll lead a dedicated team including TA Officers, a Senior Rehousing Officer and support staff, all focused on delivering an effective and responsive placement service. The team plays a vital role in supporting residents in housing need, working collaboratively across rehousing services and with external partners to ensure placements are delivered efficiently and compassionately.

Experience
Proven experience as a housing professional with a strong understanding of temporary accommodation, homelessness, and placement processes. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and make sound decisions in complex and sensitive cases.
