About the Role

Our Travel Assistance Team is looking for a passionate and dedicated Travel Assistance Assessment Co-ordinator to join our amazing team and help make a difference today.

As a Travel Assistance Assessment Co-ordinator, you will:
- Assess applications for travel assistance in line with policy and legislation.
- Determine eligibility and recommend suitable, cost-effective travel options.
- Ensure documentation and processes are clear, efficient, and compliant.
- Support service improvements, promoting independent and sustainable travel.
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, transport providers, and colleagues to deliver a joined-up service.

This varied and rewarding role combines policy, assessment, and direct family engagement - helping promote independence and inclusion across Southwark.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Experience
- Experience or knowledge of SEND travel assistance or similar services.
