Key Responsibilities: 1. To join and document ward meetings, morning meetings, ward reviews 2. Perform clinical assessments of individuals with mental health problems admitted to the ward 3. Develop knowledge of mental health, including formulation of care plans 4. To perform physical health checks (bloods, ECGs and physical examinations) and liaise with general hospital/GP colleagues to maintain patient physical health. 5. Develop psychiatric interview and risk assessment skills 6. To be flexible and accessible in providing appropriate care to the patients. 7. To work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. 8. To comply with the trust values, policies, and procedures. 9. To participate in quality improvement work (e.g. audit, service development, etc.).
