Salary
£26.07 - £29.72 per hour, depending on qualifications.

About the Role
We are seeking engaging and committed individuals to join us as casual tutors to teach Business. You will be passionate about your subject, have relevant industry experience, and be keen to inspire learners. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support Thurrock residents in developing their skills and confidence in a subject relevant to their everyday life and work.

As a tutor at Thurrock Adult Community College, you will be responsible for planning courses and lessons, creating resources, delivering teaching sessions, marking learners' work, and providing developmental feedback. Experience teaching adults is desirable.

Thurrock Adult Community College is the local authority’s provider of adult education for Thurrock, delivering courses across the borough with a focus on community engagement and skills development.

Experience
Previous and relevant industry experience is essential. Experience of teaching adults is desirable.

Qualifications
Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths are required. Ideally, you will hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training. You must have a qualification or relevant experience in the subject you wish to teach.

An Enhanced DBS check with Children's Barred List is required for this post.
