£26.07 - £29.72 per hour, depending on qualifications.
About the Role
Thurrock Adult Community College is the local authority’s provider of adult education for Thurrock. You will be responsible for planning courses and lessons, creating resources, teaching lessons, marking learners' work, and providing developmental feedback. This role requires experience teaching adults and involves working across various locations within the borough. The contract is permanent but casual, with hours subject to demand.

Experience
Experience of teaching adults is required.
About you
Committed to adult education and able to plan and deliver engaging lessons. Willingness to work towards an English teaching specialism if not already qualified. Ability to work flexibly across the borough.
Qualifications
Level 2 qualifications in English and maths.
Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
Ideally an English teaching specialism at Level 4 or 5. If not held, you will be expected to work towards this within your first year of employment.
An Enhanced DBS check with children’s barred list is required.
