About the Role
As a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, you will manage a coordinated nursing service in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team to maximise high quality patient care. You will maintain clinical credibility through your practice and utilise nursing research and evidence-based care to optimise patient outcomes. Your role includes regularly monitoring and reviewing nursing practice by participating in audits and data gathering using Trust information systems, in accordance with Trust policy and NMC Guidelines. You will ensure continuity of quality nursing care that responds flexibly to the needs of patients and carers, including facilitating safe discharge to the community or relevant care settings. Additionally, you will monitor trends and prevalence of clinical incidents following the Trust's Clinical Governance Guidance and Directives, developing strategies to prevent recurrence.

Experience
Proven experience in nursing leadership and management within a clinical setting is essential. Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing patient care delivery is required.

Qualifications
Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. Relevant post-registration qualifications in nursing leadership or management are desirable.
