About the Role
Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for ultra high net worth individuals, families, and select institutions including foundations and endowments. PWM teams work closely with clients to deliver customized strategies leveraging deep investment expertise, diverse wealth management capabilities, and global reach. As a Business Development Professional (BDP), you will provide analytical, investment, and client service support for existing clients while developing skills to participate in new business generation under an apprenticeship model with current Private Wealth Advisors. This ongoing training prepares BDPs for a successful transition into the Private Wealth Advisor role.
Key responsibilities include working closely with Private Wealth Advisors to support and implement wealth management strategies, developing marketing presentations for prospective clients, analyzing investment portfolios for risk and return, executing portfolio rebalancing and trades, researching investment vehicles, providing client service and team support, sourcing new prospective clients through outreach, managing client relationship management systems, participating in prospective client meetings, managing new business team meetings and action items, relaying market views to advisors and clients, and liaising with product groups within Investment Management to meet client needs.
Experience
At least 5 years of financial markets experience within Private Wealth Management, investing, or sales trading.
