About the Role
You will be joining WTW as a Pension Actuarial Consultant, contributing to our UK Defined Benefit pensions work. You will work with a wide range of clients on both trustee and corporate assignments, providing advice on regular valuations, accounting, PPF levies, individual calculations, and factor reviews. You will also have the opportunity to work on innovative, market-leading projects including integrated risk management, liability management, GMP equalisation, plan design strategy, asset and liability modelling, journey planning strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.
As part of a collaborative and inclusive team, you will actively engage in team collaboration and relationship building. You will mentor junior colleagues, developing their skills while demonstrating strong project management and delegation abilities.

Experience
Experience working as a pension actuary on core UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work. IFoA nearly qualified, newly qualified, or fully qualified actuary. Strong client-service orientation with proven delegation skills and a desire to coach and mentor junior colleagues.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver impactful client interactions. A sense of accountability, owning your work and taking pride in it. Self-starter with an interest in continually challenging yourself and willingness to step outside of your comfort zone. Ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how your work fits into the broader landscape.
Qualifications
IFoA nearly qualified, newly qualified, or fully qualified actuary status is required.
