About the Role
As an Administrative/Patient Experience Officer, you will act as the primary point of contact for patients and their representatives contacting the imaging, phlebotomy, and ophthalmology modalities within the service. You will be responsible for monitoring the electronic appointment work list to ensure all appointments are scheduled within the required waiting times and that all relevant paperwork is accurately filed. The role requires maintaining complete and confidential patient data records in line with Trust policies. You will work closely with the service lead in your assigned modality to support the smooth running of the service and contribute to the implementation of improvements where necessary.
Experience
Experience in administrative roles within healthcare or patient-facing environments is desirable but not essential. Ability to manage appointment systems and maintain accurate records is important.
About you
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach. Being organized, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams is essential. A commitment to confidentiality and adherence to Trust policies is required.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are mandated, but relevant administrative or healthcare-related qualifications would be advantageous.
