Fully remote role; candidates must permanently reside within the UK.

Hours
Full-time employment preferred; part-time (minimum of 4 days per week) also available.

Salary
£54,000 - £78,000 per year based on experience and clinical background.

About the Role
As an ADOS Autism Assessor for Children and Young People, you will conduct high-quality autism assessments through remote child observations via video calls. You will be part of a multidisciplinary assessment team, engaging in peer MDT diagnostic decision-making with support from the senior clinical MDT as needed. Our aim is to provide families with high-quality NHS neurodevelopmental assessments within 4 weeks of GP referral. We are committed to transforming access to autism assessments in England, ensuring timely assessments and clear outcomes, regardless of diagnosis.

Requirements

Experience
Professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC, or Social Work England. At least 6 months of experience in children and young people's autism diagnostic assessments, including a sound understanding of co-occurring conditions and differentials.

Qualifications
Completion of a recognised ADOS-2 course. High-quality parent and child communication skills. Enhanced DBS with barred list check required.
