A rewarding opportunity to improve outcomes for children and families, professional development opportunities, supportive leadership and excellent local government benefits including an excellent pension through the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), up to 32 days annual leave depending on grade and length of service plus public holidays, a blend of remote and office-based working, interest free season ticket loan, career development and learning experiences, Employee Assistance Programme, health and leisure discounts, tax-free bikes for work, and a 1 month paid sabbatical for Children’s Social Workers. We foster a culture that puts customers at the heart of everything we do by empowering our people to work together to find solutions, be open, honest and respectful, take responsibility and listen and learn.
