About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join Barnet Council's new Risk Outside The Home (ROTH) team. You will work alongside other professionals supporting adolescents presenting with complex needs, including victims or perpetrators of child sexual exploitation, young people affected by serious youth violence, group offending, or those missing from home.

The role involves working collaboratively with partner agencies to assess needs, deliver effective interventions, and support young people. Experience
Proven experience demonstrating impact on families to achieve positive outcomes for children and influencing professional networks.
Experience working with vulnerable children and young people, particularly in complex safeguarding situations.

About You
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework and policies related to safeguarding children.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in writing assessments and plans for young people.
Innovative and positive engagement with children and families during assessments and planning.
A passion for delivering high-quality services and interventions in partnership with a wide range of agencies.
Ability to practice at a higher level, including deputising for the line manager when required.
Expertise in managing complex situations and assessing and managing higher levels of risk independently and supporting less experienced social workers.

Qualifications
