You will work across Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs), delivering innovative capabilities that create real business value.

Key responsibilities include assessing, designing, building, optimizing, and deploying ML/AI models and foundational models for real-world applications. You will continuously research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and models, prototype new AI capabilities, and run proof-of-concepts. Collaboration with business and technology teams to identify high-value use cases is essential. You will drive a culture of innovation through experimentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.

Additional duties involve defining best practices, technical standards, and reusable patterns for AI development across the organization. You will develop agentic AI workflows using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or similar, maintain AI system blueprints, ensure integration with existing infrastructure, and optimize performance and scalability. Ensuring compliance, observability, and scalability are embedded in design decisions is critical. You will drive best practices for AI model deployment, monitoring, and continual improvement while ensuring AI solutions comply with organizational security, ethical guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to identify and deliver high-impact AI opportunities. Stay at the forefront of advancements in AI, foundation models, and autonomous agents to maintain Worldpay’s competitive edge.

Experience
5+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related fields. Strong Python skills and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face. Proven track record of taking AI proof-of-concepts from idea to production. Deep knowledge of deep learning, NLP, and LLM architectures, including experience in fine-tuning LLMs or training domain-specific models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases. Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and orchestration frameworks. Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A curious, hands-on mindset with a desire to experiment, learn, and build. Experience with multimodal AI, AI governance, or MLOps is a plus. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by driving impactful AI innovations.

Qualifications
Advanced degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines is a bonus. Research, publications, patents, or open-source contributions in AI/ML are highly regarded. Knowledge of payments, fintech, or financial services is advantageous.
