About the Role
Ready to take your career global? Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Senior Strategy Manager to join our ever-evolving Retail Vertical Growth team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will contribute and support the development of a commercial strategy for the Retail vertical across priority markets in our four regions: NORAM, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. Your responsibilities will include creating collateral and content to articulate our thought leadership, positioning Global Payments as an influencer within the vertical. You will coordinate and drive execution of strategic commercial initiatives to grow the vertical and support regional Business Development and Relationship Management teams with tactical requests such as participation in customer meetings, RFPs, developing target lists, and informing on vertical thought leadership and trends to educate them on how to win in target industries. Leveraging data and analyzing trends, you will drive innovation across our product roadmap, acting as the voice of the customer for target industries. Additionally, you will support a team of strategy and marketing professionals to win as one team, driving the strategic agenda for the retail vertical. Developing a strong internal network of key stakeholders including Business Development, Relationship Management, Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, Risk, and Compliance will be essential to your success.

Experience
3+ years’ experience working within a Tier 1 payments organisation. 2+ years’ expertise within a retail business. Payments or other financial services experience is desirable.

Self-motivated and able to define priorities across a complex, global organization, as well as close knowledge gaps quickly. Intermediate communication skills including speaking on panels, webinars, and on stage at events. A natural networker with strong analytical experience, project management skills, and data management capabilities. Proven track record as a high EQ colleague, fostering team engagement and collaboration.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferable.
