You will be part of a greenfield, inclusive, and global engineering team dedicated to building the future of autonomous commerce. Working at the intersection of AI integration, developer experience, and payment innovation, you will define how AI agents securely transact on behalf of consumers and help establish the standards powering the next generation of digital commerce.

Your responsibilities will include designing and building secure checkout APIs that AI agents can invoke reliably and deterministically, supporting UCP, ACP, AP2, Agentic Tokens, and MPP. You will integrate agentic payment capabilities across Global Payments platforms to enable seamless autonomous commerce experiences. Architecting and delivering merchant-facing APIs and SDKs with clear contracts, predictable error handling, and excellent documentation will be key. You will champion developer experience by improving discoverability, reducing time-to-first-transaction, and gathering feedback from external developers to drive continuous improvement. Collaboration with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define technical requirements, participate in software design reviews, and contribute to API governance standards across the organization will be essential.

Experience
- Designing, developing, debugging, and enhancing scalable software applications and APIs
- Strong understanding of end-to-end software development life cycles, engineering standards, and modern development practices
- Proficiency in solutions design, systems architecture, and requirements definition
- Knowledge of distributed systems, API development, and integration patterns
- Familiarity with financial services, payments, or fintech technologies

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

- Knowledge of payments processing, fraud prevention, or digital commerce ecosystems
- Experience developing SDKs, developer platforms, or external-facing technology solutions
