About the Role

We're looking for a Tax Assistant Manager to join our ever-evolving Tax Operations Team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will support the tax team in managing the outsourcing of corporate tax affairs by coordinating advisors, sharing relevant data, and preparing responses to tax queries. Your responsibilities will include preparing, reviewing, and filing various federal, state, local, and withholding tax reports and returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will assist with tax audits, requests for refunds related to dual taxation, incorrect assessments, and exempt property. Additionally, you will support M&A activities including due diligence, structuring, and identifying opportunities. You will prepare memos documenting risks, opportunities, and tax positions taken, and lead coordination with external tax advisors in selected markets. Other duties include preparing tax forms such as tax clearance requests, CbCR notifications, self-certifications for CRS, FATCA, and CoR requests, providing ad hoc tax advice with support from the direct tax team, balance sheet substantiation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and informing management of relevant issues, monitoring internal reporting software for data integrity, investigating and reconciling discrepancies, and performing other related duties as required.
Experience
ACA or CTA qualification, either part or fully qualified. Knowledge of UK corporate and withholding tax concepts, practices, and procedures. General understanding of global corporate and withholding tax concepts. Experience with tax audits and M&A tax support is advantageous.

Motivated to stay current with tax regulations and apply learned concepts effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. ACA or CTA qualification (part or fully qualified) is required.
