About the Role
We are looking for a talented Analytics Engineer to join our Data Mission, transforming data into valuable insights that enhance user experiences and empower our analyst community while encouraging best data modelling practices. Using a cutting-edge tech stack including dbt, Databricks, and Kafka, you'll define the standards the team works to and build the data products that power decisions for millions of users. You will collaborate with teams across the business to design and build data products supporting over 26 million users in making empowered financial decisions, serving the operational platform and CRM. As part of an engineering team, you will build high quality and reliable data pipelines, uphold best practice standards across data modelling, testing, documentation, and observability, solve business problems creatively, automate day-to-day processes, and take technical ownership of data initiatives from end-to-end. You will also investigate, communicate, and resolve data-related incidents with the team. Experience
Proven experience in SQL and dbt, designing and building robust, scalable data transformations on platforms like Databricks. Experience diagnosing and resolving production issues with pipelines designed for testing, monitoring, and maintainability. Familiarity with orchestration tooling such as Databricks Workflows. Experience with data activation tools (e.g. Hightouch) or streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka) is a bonus.
