About the Role

This role is an opportunity to join the Mace Construct Commercial sector business unit, which delivers commercial offices, retrofit and major project schemes. You will be responsible for coordinating a team to develop and maintain information requirements and standards, and managing processes within a common data environment. You will lead the delivery of the information management function for the project team.

Your key responsibilities will include providing support to the Delivery Team throughout the project lifecycle, advising and implementing processes described within the ISO19650 series, ensuring information is produced and assured for digital delivery, and communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. You will develop an understanding of ISO19650 and applicable client standards, ensure security protocols are followed for viewing and issuing information, monitor digital handover to completion, and review current technology solutions while researching new innovations to improve BIM processes.

Additional duties include supporting construction sequencing strategies using information models, implementing governance and assurance processes, assisting in preparation of cost plans from information models, supporting object library development aligned with wider BIM strategy, and contributing to the development of BIM Execution Plans and Information Requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR) as per ISO 19650. You will also support the production of information standards, methods, procedures, and shared resources, provide support during the production of the Information Model (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only), and upskill client teams, Mace project managers, and design teams through BIM knowledge sharing sessions. Collaboration with Mace PM and Design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way is essential.

Experience
Experience with Autodesk Desktop Products, Validation and Verification Tools, and Visualisation Tools. Basic understanding of ISO19650, BS1192, Computer Science Programming, Common Data Environment (CDE), IFC, and Classifications.
