About the Role
At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.
If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We seek candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.
As Assistant Director - Product Manager (Business Intelligence), you will own the strategy, priorities, and adoption of analytics products that deliver measurable business outcomes for Moody's Analytics. You will partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, pain points, decisions, and use cases for analytics products, translating business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
You will define the business problem, intended users, expected value, and decisions supported for each product investment, validating assumptions with stakeholders and users to ensure product direction is grounded in real business needs. Supporting development of product strategy and roadmap priorities across analytics products and decision-support capabilities, you will coordinate with analytics, data, engineering, and business teams to sequence work based on business value, feasibility, dependencies, and stakeholder readiness.
You will drive stakeholder alignment, adoption planning, communications, launch readiness, and feedback loops for assigned products. Defining product success metrics, monitoring adoption and usage, and identifying opportunities to improve product relevance and impact will be key responsibilities. You will prepare clear product narratives, roadmap updates, and decision materials for senior stakeholders.
