Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

This role is responsible for leading, developing, and executing global account strategy for major customers, maximizing financial and strategic value for Moody’s and its clients. You will act as sector lead for strategic Banking relationships, shaping Moody’s commercial and solution positioning for the industry. Serving as a trusted advisor to Banking C-suites, you will provide insight on trends impacting the sector and deliver thought-provoking advice to help customers stay ahead of trends and risks.

Key responsibilities include managing and building a book of business to maximize impact and customer satisfaction, identifying, negotiating, and delivering opportunities that benefit both customers and Moody’s, and delivering enterprise propositions tailored to customer needs. You will translate Banking market intelligence into pipeline strategy and account prioritization, partner closely with industry-focused analysts, product leaders, and senior executives to deliver differentiated value propositions, and support enterprise sales and relationship management talent.

Establishing and deepening C-suite relationships, acting as Moody’s ambassador within customer organizations, and representing Moody’s externally at key forums, executive roundtables, and industry events are essential aspects of this role. The position offers a dynamic work environment with hybrid working flexibility and requires up to 50% travel.

The Global Business Director team acts as a catalyst to bring Moody’s together in service of the customers. They are strategic relationship managers who lead, develop, and execute global account strategies for major customers, maximizing financial and strategic value, aligning short-term needs to longer-term business strategies, and satisfying customers' medium- and long-term business needs.
