About the Role
The Financial Times (FT) is a globally recognised news organisation known for its authority, integrity and accuracy. FT Studio is the in-house creative team producing partner content that is editorially driven and visually impactful, including animations, immersive digital experiences, mini-documentaries, podcasts and journalistic content. The Assistant Producer will support the delivery of branded content campaigns across FT Studio, taking ownership of smaller, single-format deliverables such as social assets, simple video edits, editorial pieces and multimedia components. This hands-on production role combines coordination, administrative support and exposure to creative processes across editorial, video, digital and interactive formats. You will work closely with Producers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are organised, delivered on schedule and meet FT standards. This 12-month fixed term contract offers a strong development pathway towards independent production ownership in a fast-moving, commercially creative environment. The role requires maintaining production trackers, supporting digital publishing workflows, assisting with budget administration, and managing production logistics while following FT Studio’s production systems and workflows consistently.

- Exposure to social, video, editorial, multimedia or interactive content production is a plus.

About you
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing work requests.
- Clear and professional communication skills, confident working across teams, clients and suppliers.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach, including experience working with colleagues in different locations or time zones.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and willing to learn and take ownership of tasks.
- Client-focused mindset with an understanding of delivering high-quality work to brief.
- Ability to identify issues, suggest solutions and act appropriately.
- Resilient, adaptable and flexible in a fast-moving, changing environment.
- Genuine interest in content production for business, financial and decision-maker audiences.
- Interest in branded content and how FT Studio combines client objectives with FT-quality storytelling.
