About the Role
The Financial Times Financial Literacy and Inclusion Campaign (FT FLIC) is a fast-expanding charity promoting financial literacy where it is needed most, working with young people, adult learners, community groups and workers across the UK. FT FLIC develops award-winning financial literacy curricula and digital resources, including videos, lesson materials, guides and worksheets, designed to equip learners with essential financial skills.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Video Officer to support the production, editing and distribution of engaging financial education content across digital platforms. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in video production, social media management and content strategy within a dynamic creative team.

You will assist in scripting, filming, editing, and distributing both short-form and long-form video content optimised for various social media platforms. Working closely with the Video and Social Media Manager, you will help bring financial literacy content to life in a clear, engaging and accessible way. You will also support content optimisation, monitor performance, and contribute ideas to improve engagement.

This role is key to FT FLIC’s mission to provide accessible financial education resources that help people navigate the financial world, avoid pitfalls and maximise opportunities. You will work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to contribute to new content formats, support live video sessions and attend industry events.

Beyond beneficiary engagement, you will help create content communicating FT FLIC’s impact to stakeholders including funders, corporate partners, policymakers and educators. You will contribute to campaigns, partner activities and platforms such as LinkedIn, adapting tone and format for different audiences while maintaining brand consistency.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career video and social media professional to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a mission-driven organisation.
