As an Associate in our acoustics team, you will lead flagship and technically complex projects of national significance and other strategic advisory assignments. You will have the opportunity to work across diverse sectors including renewable energy, commercial and industrial, residential, sports and leisure, and infrastructure.
In this role, you will lead by example, placing people and projects at the forefront of your work. You will mentor junior staff, contribute to technical advancements, and adopt a client-centric approach. Promoting WSP’s culture, you will take a dynamic and collaborative approach to problem solving and deliver client-focused global best practices with an emphasis on selling value rather than time.
Our acoustics team is one of the largest and most respected in the UK and globally, known for delivering innovative, integrated solutions across environmental acoustics, architectural acoustics, and complex vibration assessments. You will work alongside in-house environmental and sustainability specialists and collaborate with structural, rail, and mechanical engineers to provide commercially balanced solutions.

Experience
Proven experience in environmental acoustics with the ability to technically review reports and proposals. Experience leading complex projects and mentoring junior staff is essential.
About you
An enthusiastic and energetic professional with excellent technical, project management, presentation, report writing, commercial, health and safety, personal organisation, and communication skills. You should have a social and team-spirited attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute positively to the team culture.
Qualifications
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification and corporate membership of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA / FIOA) are required.
