About the Role
We are seeking an Associate to join our Consumer Retail Investment Banking team in London. In this role, you will leverage your skills and ideas to contribute to the success of Goldman Sachs. Associates play a key role in developing and strengthening client relationships, participating on advisory teams, and structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Responsibilities include creating and analyzing financial models, organizing and preparing client presentations, managing transaction processes, and assisting in transaction structuring. You will gain broad exposure to the firm’s businesses and deepen your knowledge of the investment banking industry while developing key analytical, communication, and marketing skills. Associates are actively involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, fixed income and equity issuances, and perform customized company valuation analyses. They coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers, lead due diligence processes, and participate in negotiating legal documentation. Additionally, Associates contribute to fostering a strong apprenticeship culture through training, mentoring, and professional development of analysts and interns.

Experience
Minimum 3 years’ investment banking or equivalent experience. Proven track record of outstanding academic and professional achievement.

Qualifications
