About the Role
At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities by fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be themselves—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk as a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.
This role owns the path to product-market fit for property underwriting data solutions in European and London Market insurance, driving evidence-based decisions on where and how the product creates value for insurers. You will lead the drive to product-market fit for property underwriting solutions, iterating both the product and go-to-market approach with early customers. Responsibilities include translating customer needs into technical specifications, working hands-on with data review and feature definition, building a segmented view of European insurers’ underwriting practices, leading carrier evaluation programs, iterating go-to-market strategies with sales and marketing, and holding commercial accountability for adoption and revenue outcomes.
You will coordinate cross-functional dependencies across geospatial and property data sourcing, catastrophe risk analytics, legal and data privacy review, represent the product with clients across European markets, and support London Market business development. Our Property Underwriting team builds property intelligence and catastrophe risk analytics that insurers use to select, price, and triage individual risks, expanding offerings into new geographies and lines of business. Our products leverage machine learning and computer vision applied to aerial imagery, with a strong emphasis on responsible and ethical AI use.
Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to any protected characteristic.

- Technical fluency to collaborate directly with engineering and data science teams on data products, including data schemas, model outputs, and quality metrics
- Commercial fluency to build and defend business cases, shape pricing and packaging, and be accountable for adoption and revenue
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and build credibility with senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency, including AI risk management and ethical AI use
- Experience in the London Market (Lloyd's syndicate, coverholder, specialty broker) or with US commercial property exposures written from London is strongly valued but not required; familiarity with geospatial data, aerial or satellite imagery, computer vision data products, or catastrophe risk modelling is helpful
