As an Associate Director Sales Representative within Moody’s Insurance Sales team, you will partner closely with sales colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders to support the end-to-end sales process for Moody’s Casualty and Financial Lines data, analytics, models, and software solutions. You will serve as the workflow subject matter expert, bringing insurance market and workflow expertise to client engagements, helping customers understand how Moody’s capabilities address underwriting, pricing, portfolio management, and risk assessment needs.

Key responsibilities include serving as the Casualty and Financial Lines workflow expert throughout the sales lifecycle, leading detailed client discovery sessions, assessing client needs, designing and delivering tailored demonstrations and workshops, developing trusted relationships with stakeholders across underwriting, actuarial, portfolio management, claims, data science, technology, operations, and executive teams. You will collaborate with Product, Strategy, Modelling, Delivery, and Customer Success teams to ensure solutions are credible, relevant, and aligned with client requirements, while providing structured feedback on market trends, client needs, competitive positioning, and emerging use cases.

This role offers a dynamic work environment with hybrid flexibility and significant client engagement opportunities, requiring up to 50% travel.

Requirements

Experience
- 7+ years in business-to-business sales, solution consulting, pre-sales, insurance technology, financial technology, data and analytics, or related client-facing roles
- Experience selling insurance-related solutions such as underwriting, pricing, portfolio management, exposure assessment, claims analysis, and risk monitoring preferred
- Proven experience supporting or selling SaaS, data, analytics, modelling, or technology solutions within complex enterprise environments
- Strong consultative skills to understand client challenges, assess workflows, identify business requirements, and recommend aligned solutions
- Ability to translate complex data, analytics, software, and technical capabilities into clear business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience conducting client discovery and delivering compelling product demonstrations, presentations, workshops, or proof-of-concept engagements
- Strong commercial acumen and experience navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders including business leaders, technology teams, operations, procurement, and senior executives
- Knowledge of insurance, financial services, risk management, or regulated industries preferred, with interest in Casualty and Financial Lines insurance solutions
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts with enthusiasm for AI-enabled solutions improving workflows and decision-making

Qualifications
- Undergraduate or first-level degree preferred, such as a Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, risk management, actuarial science, economics, finance, data analytics, or related fields
- Relevant insurance or professional qualifications are beneficial but not required
