About the Role
As an Associate Manager and Key Holder, you will act as the leading force on the sales floor, demonstrating product knowledge and managing store operations. You will run the store independently during non-peak times and provide a positive customer experience following the TUMI Selling Ceremony. Motivating the sales team to demonstrate The Difference, you will develop new client relationships and interact with existing clients to increase sales. You will be responsible for attaining monthly and quarterly sales and SPH goals, building strong partnerships with co-workers and store management, and encouraging a culture of training and development within the team. You will ensure the training roadmap is completed by all team members.
Your duties will include assisting with training associates on the TUMI Difference and Elite Moments, meeting or exceeding SPH goals, building client relationships through data capture and outreach using the Proximity clienteling app, and contributing to sales goals and KPIs. You will maintain excellent customer service through product knowledge and positive client interaction, coach and provide feedback during downtime, and communicate regularly with the Store Manager regarding personnel, merchandise, and operations.
Additional responsibilities include participating in merchandising to a high standard, adapting Visual Merchandising Guidelines, assisting with orientation and training of new associates, motivating the team, and maintaining professional appearance and punctuality. You will open and close the store in the absence of management, ensure accurate cash handling and paperwork, maintain stock and housekeeping standards, and adhere to all Health and Safety policies.
Exemplifying the TUMI Difference and Elite Moments, you will ensure the TUMI University training roadmap is followed, support clienteling and after-sales service philosophy, and maintain awareness of the competitive environment. You will also assist with loss prevention by maintaining inventory, supporting stock control, reporting theft, and controlling shrinkage through good customer service and awareness.
This role requires a proactive, solution-minded individual who can contribute to a positive store environment and support the achievement of business goals.
Experience
Previous experience in retail is required. Experience in managing sales teams and store operations is highly desirable.

You are a team player and motivator with excellent people skills and brand sensibility. You are target driven, flexible, and productive during downtime. You have the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attendance and punctuality. You can withstand constant standing, bending, and frequent lifting of luggage up to 15kg, adhering to manual lifting procedures. You demonstrate a professional appearance in accordance with dress code standards.
Qualifications
Good command of English and computer literacy are essential. You have strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and train a team. You are business aware and able to communicate store goals, challenges, and solutions effectively.
