Autism Assessor (ADOS and/or ADIR trained) - CYP
Location
Fully remote role, must permanently reside within the UK. In-person roles available at our clinic in Exeter.
Hours
Full-time employment preferred, part-time (minimum of 3 days per week) also available.
Salary
£45,000 - £80,000 per year based on experience and clinical background.
About the Role
Paloma Health aims to provide families with high-quality NHS neurodevelopmental assessments within 4 weeks of GP referral. Our autism assessments for children and young people launched in November 2024, with ADHD assessments and treatment to follow in early 2026. We are clinically led and Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered, with a focus on improving the experience of delivering assessments. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary assessment team, conducting remote parental interviews, peer diagnostic decision-making, and tech-enabled outcome report writing. Experience
At least 6 months experience in children and young people's autism diagnostic assessments, with a sound understanding of co-occurring conditions and differentials. Good time management skills and high-quality communication skills with parents and patients.

Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, excited about using new technologies, and always looking for ways to improve staff and patient experience.
Qualifications
Professional Registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC, or Social Work England. Completion of a recognised ADOS-2 course. Desirable: Formal training in autism developmental histories (e.g., ADI-R) and experience in conducting risk assessments within an autism assessment service.
