Location
This is a fully remote role; however, you must permanently reside in the UK throughout your employment. There are also in-person roles available at our clinic in Exeter (see separate advert).

Hours
Full-time employment is preferred, though part-time (minimum 3 days per week) can be accommodated.

Salary
£64,000-68,000 per year for allied healthcare professionals and social workers, depending on experience.
£70,000-75,000 per year for practitioner psychologists, depending on experience.
Competitive salary for GMC-registered clinicians, depending on experience.

About the Role
Join Paloma Health, a mission-driven organisation transforming access to autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people across England. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, timely autism assessments using a new gold-standard pathway and proprietary Patient Record software. Your work will include remote developmental histories and child observations via video calls, peer MDT diagnostic decision-making, tech-enabled outcome report writing, and outcome calls with families.

Requirements

Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in children and young people's autism diagnostic assessments.
- Sound understanding of co-occurring conditions and differential diagnoses.
- Ability to present diagnostic findings clearly in client-centred clinical reports including strengths and needs profiles.
- Good time and caseload management skills.
- High-quality communication skills with parents and patients.
- Enhanced DBS with barred list check.

Qualifications
- Professional registration with one of the following: HCPC, NMC, GMC, or Social Work England.
- Completion of a recognised ADOS-2 course required for NMC, HCPC, and Social Work England registered applicants (Clinical Psychologists and Medical Doctors may be considered without ADOS-2).
- Relevant professional backgrounds include Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, Educational), Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Nurse (Mental Health and Learning Disability), Medical Doctor, and Social Worker.

Desirable
- Formal training in autism developmental histories (e.g. ADI-R).
- Experience conducting risk assessments within autism assessment services.
- Evidence of safeguarding training (Level 3 and above).
- Experience in ADHD assessments.
