You will organise your own workload and establish priorities in collaboration with the nurse in charge or lead therapist, working unsupervised when required. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient and electronic records is essential. You will regularly participate in team meetings, liaise effectively with the wider multidisciplinary team, and report to the nurse in charge or therapy lead as appropriate. You will assist in orientating new staff and engage in one-to-one meetings, objective-setting, and clinical appraisals following the Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF). Maintaining an up-to-date portfolio and participating in clinical supervision are key responsibilities. You will be encouraged to expand your nursing and therapy knowledge and skills through further training and support teaching others. Competency in using Word documents, email, and the Internet is required, with a willingness to develop computer skills further. You will submit statistical information as needed and participate in clinical audits to promote patient-centred care. Additionally, you will support team managers and administration staff with office systems management and collaborate with senior nurses and therapists in role development.
